Meet Our Courageous CEO
Adrienne McCollum-Smith, LICSW-S
is a seasoned trauma therapist, clinical supervisor, and executive coach passionate about helping BIPOC women therapists step fully into entrepreneurship. She has been in the social work field since 2013 and has owned and operated a successful private practice for over 6 years—approaching 7 years in September 2025.
Through her own experience as a business owner and over a year of receiving coaching herself, Adrienne has gained powerful tools, systems, and processes to support sustainable practice growth. Her coaching style blends strategy with authenticity, empowering clients to build businesses that reflect their values, vision, and cultural identity. With EmpowerHer Practice, she demystifies private practice for first-generation practice owners—especially in the South—offering clear guidance, practical resources, and a community rooted in empowerment.
